Robyn & Scott were blessed with the most spectacular wedding day. The sky was perfectly clear and a gorgeous bright sun shone over their celebration. I started with Robyn at her parent’s home and was witness to an incredible hair and makeup team lead by Sam Christensen of Girly Junk. Robyn and her girls looked absolutely stunning. Robyn and Scott had a family and faith filled ceremony at the beautiful St. Ann’s church in Quincy, followed by a drop dead gorgeous reception at Granite Links Golf Club. Linda Blackmore of Granite Links did a fabulous job (as always!) and Orchid and Blooms created a gorgeous decor with drop dead gorgeous floral designs. It was a breath of luxury and pure elegance at every turn inside the ballroom at Granite Links. I had the pleasure of working with DJ Patrick Lally of South Shore Entertainment who not only kept the party going all night long, but also orchestrated a heartfelt slideshow surprise for the bride and groom as well as stunning reception lighting. I always love when couples choose to add uplighting to their celebration- it makes the photographs so vibrant with energy and pops of color!
I adore the ruins at Granite Links and was so happy that Robyn and Scott decided to take the time to go down there. Romantic in their jagged stone edges and lush foliage, they are a photographer’s dream. As a Boston wedding photographer, I am always so excited to be at Granite Links and shoot again at this cool spot! Yet perhaps my favorite moments of Robyn & Scott’s wedding were the tears of joy that happened so much on their day. When Scott saw Robyn walk down the aisle, when Robyn saw her Dad for the first time in her gown and when the couple were toasted by those who love them so much. It is at the these moments that I absolutely love my work.
Robyn & Scott- You two are such a perfect pair and it was my honor to be a part of your celebration. I wish you both every happiness in your lives together! I am in love with your photographs and I hope you are as well. You are beautiful inside and out!
